Counseling

Therapy is not a one-size fits all sorta deal. Being able to both trust and feel comfortable with your therapist is the most important component in the therapeutic process.

EMDR

The goal of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is to recognize limiting beliefs, transform those beliefs that hold you back, and create new beliefs that are more true. After trauma, we may create limiting, negative beliefs about ourselves that are a real barrier to living our best lives such as “I am not enough” or “It was my fault.” EMDR turns those beliefs to “I am ok” and “I did my best”. The EMDR process is to facilitate healing so your mind can return to its natural place of health and well-being, without being triggered by old experiences and beliefs that no longer serve you.

IFS- Internal Family System

The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) has evolved over the past twenty years into a comprehensive approach that includes guidelines for working with individuals, couples, and families. The IFS Model represents a new synthesis of two already-existing paradigms: systems thinking and the multiplicity of the mind. It brings concepts and methods from the structural, strategic, narrative, and Bowenian schools of family therapy to the world of sub-personalities.

IFS is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts.
