Why the name Golden Door?

Sometimes Golden door can also be translated as Golden Gate. It is an acupuncture point on the side of the foot.  When a person feels weary, stagnant, or fearful in their journey of life; We needle this point to point them towards the door.  The door holds an abundance of resources - it is labeled Golden because it is of everything good, beautiful, energizing, revitalizing, and healing. It truly brings a golden, spiritual quality to everything. Passing through this door advances, renews, and inspires a patient on their spiritual path. The door leads them closer to their soul purpose, their connection with the Universe and God. 

Olivia earned her Master’s in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in 2012. She spent a year overseas in Taipei, Taiwan doing a clinical rotation with a master acupuncturist who specialized in skin diseases. Currently, she is working with a team of researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in the OB/GYN department on an acupuncture research study. She also works a few times a month at a local fertility clinic performing acupuncture after IVF transfers. Olivia treats all types of conditions with Acupuncture, Chinese Cupping, and Chinese Herbal Medicine but she specializes in fertility, hormone imbalances, skin issues (including cosmetic acupuncture), autoimmune conditions and digestive disorders.  She has a calming presence and is a great listener.
